Partner Programs
In the Trenches
At the core of the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut (UWSECT) mission-- to change our community by helping people in need-- is the work provided by these 28 agencies. These respected organizations are home to 65 programs which together with three UWSECT programs (Gemma E. Moran United Way Labor Food Center, Project Warm Up and Individual Development Accounts with Liberty Bank), United Way 2-1-1, and a series of other partnerships and intiatives, create a critical support network for our community. Some programs are large and some small, but all are important pieces to the puzzle and part of the holistic "hand up, instead of hand out" approach which the United Way system is built upon.
