Taking the Helm
An informational web page for Electric Boat
Created to communicate up-to-date information to Electric Boat
laid-off employees.

This web page is specifically designed to assist and connect Electric Boat's Dislocated Workers to the many services and programs available prior to, and more importantly, after their departure from Electric Boat. We invite and encourage you to take advantage of the information available on this site. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns because your input will be greatly appreciated as you "take the helm."

This effort is a collaboration of MDA-UAW Local 571, Metal Trades Council AFL-CIO, Electric Boat Peer Counselors, United Way of Southeastern Connecticut, and AFL-CIO Community Services.
